  1. I’m still trying to wrap my head around some of those lines from Gibbs! I think you captured his flavor perfectly.
Well written series. Thanks for the read!

  2. I’ve only gravitates towards the zombie/apocalyptic and sci-fi genre 2 yrs ago after devouring every other genre in my 50 yrs, ok only 47 yrs of them could I read (EXCEPT Romance, Westerns blech). Your books are well written and the characters so fleshed out I feel as if they are old friends, I’m glad I stumbled upon them. By the way you chose THE perfect narrator, he is why I originally took a chance on the first book but your writing kept me coming back. I’ve started about 20 books, written 2 children’s books, and a dozen short stories and published ZERO. About the same as the number of paintings I’ve even dared let other see, thank for sharing that it is a common struggle amongst introverts. I look forward to reading the 4th and any others your wife convinces you to share with us all. 🙂

  4. I’m baffled as to how you haven’t been at least nominated for a Hugo or Nebula. Your books are phenomenal. I actually feel like I have a higher EQ.

  5. Thank you so much for the Commune series. I fortunately discovered them recently enough that I only had to wait a couple of weeks for book 4. Wonderful writing!

My wife is now on book 4. Has trouble with the profanity, but can’t put it down.

Can’t wait for more books from you! I hope you soon get the recognition you deserve.

  6. Just finished reading All Gifts Bestowed and I liked it. “Dora” almost seemed Heinlein-esque. Now I’ve purchased the four Commune books and am ready to settle into my essential escape from my 72-year-old widower’s reality. Thanks for helping with that.

  7. Author websites have really progressed from my last check. Outstanding! Also, thank you for giving us a character worthy of the vacancy [void-sized hole] created at the end of Commune Book 1. Yes, my inner monologue has been in the voice of Gibbs for two days so far. Thanks.

No, seriously, if RC Bray had not been paired with this story, I don’t think I could have convinced myself that Amanda’s story was both survivable and worth sticking it out. As a Survivor, thank you. Amanda and her creator are in a pretty trim group. #gibbsquotingeddieizzard #mindblown

Chowing down Book 2 today, so no spoilers in those newsletters, ok?

  8. Discovered the Cummune series recently and quickly went through all four audiobooks. The stories you created, coupled with the narrators talents, were outstanding. I know the end of Book 4 has a finality to it, but please don’t let it be! Need me some more Gibbs one liners!
